Love Vs. Chocolate

Love Vs. Chocolate

I’ve never really fallen in love, but I did fall in CHOCOLATE. I always thought that I wasn’t really that type of a person who could stuff their bellies with chocolate when sad, nervous or even on their periods (for girls of course) but when I started to get really stressed over college and projects, I close my eyes and in some miraculous way when I open them I find TONS OF CHOCOLATES in my hand…
“There’s nothing better than a friend, unless it’s a friend with chocolate.”
– Linda Grayson

I mean, it’s true. At the end, would you rather be in love or have unlimited chocolate supply?
Chocolate is composed of Phenylethylalanine. To put it simple, ever looked at some guy/girl and felt butterflies with a combination of excitement and nervousness? That’s what it does.
“THE GREATEST TRAGEDIES WERE WRITTEN BY THE GREEKS AND SHAKESPEARE… NEITHER KNEW CHOCOLATE.”
– SANDRA BOYNTON
I’ve seen people high on drugs and I’ve seen people high on love.
Theobromine, a composition in chocolate related to caffeine, makes you feel this way. And it’s actually a bit confusing, should I link it to drugs or love?
*Maybe a bit of both*
“Chocolate symbolizes, as does no other food, luxury, comfort, sensuality, gratification, and love.”― Karl Petzke
A red box of chocolate is almost in every movie and every event, to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and even independence days. I don’t need to tell you that chocolate tricks your brain into bringing happiness. Tryptophan in chocolates makes them do so.
One can’t live without love, sure. But imagine a world without chocolate! *shivers*
