By: Mohamed Hamed, 17/2/2018

Maybe the only thing people have in common and hope to occur in 2018 as 2017 is surely watching terrific Netflix series. The famous streaming service has been responsible for innovating television and Netflix original series now usually rake in Golden globes and Emmys. Whatever you are doing, either studying or working, or anything else, you will find a time for Netflix because it has already been planned to bring to you different categories of series from sci-fi to comedy in 2018. Besides Egypt qualified to World cup, I assure there are no better reasons than these to be excited for 2018. So, let us anticipate the series shows that will be remarkable.

13 Reasons why (season 2)

With an important and different case that broke our hearts and made us worry about our words and acts towards others, 13 reasons why is already working to bring to us on season 2 and many enquiries about what new will happen in it. Will Hannah be in it? Will Clay find a new love interest? Netflix didn’t announce yet when it will be launched, however, there are some talks that it will be get to the lights in spring or summer 2018 maximum. We also expect to be the same whole crew but maybe with different role for Hannah Baker in form of flashbacks. Netflix also tweeted in May 9, 2017 that we will see others’ perspectives on Hannah’s story, Bryce will hopefully be accused, and Jessica who tries to recover and returns to normal life.

Stranger Things (season 3)

Group of kids lead the show and made us fell in love with everything in it, Season 3 may come up in 2018. It was reportedly that Season 3 is still being written and they wouldn’t start shooting until spring 2018, so, it may hopefully come in late 2018 or in 2019. There are things that we must wait to happen and hear justification about it like the theories behind the upside down, Kali who is Eleven’s sister, Papa and if he is still alive or not, and more focus on character’s life like Hopper as Matt Duffer hinted “It’s not necessarily going to be bigger in scale. What I am really excited about is giving these characters an interesting journey to go on.”

House of Cards (season 6)

With the fact that Kevin Spacey was fired by producers coming after the sexual misconduct allegations made against him in October 2017. There were rumors about the return of the show after it was halted by the production, however, it was later exposed that there will be a conclusion of the series by making season 6. It was said few days ago that Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear had been hired to appear in the show’s final run which is anticipated to air on Netflix later this year. The last season includes only 8 episodes to be the shortest one to date and it will focus on Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood as the US president as she takes center-stage. However, each season has usually arrived between 12 and 14 months after the previous one. So, it is expected that season 6 comes to light in June 2018 as season 5 took place in May last year.

Mind hunter (season 2)

With the success and good reviews after season 1 was released, Netflix was officially confirmed a second season 3 months ago and it was predicted to be released in mid of October this year. And while we were exciting to know what new will happen in next season Fincher revealed in an interview with Billboard about the show’s music that the second season will address the real-life events of 79-81, two years after season one: “Next year we’re looking at the Atlanta child murders, so we’ll have a lot more African-American music which will be nice. The music will evolve. It’s intended to support what’s happening with the show and for the show to evolve radically between seasons.”

Glow (season 2)

glowAnd these gorgeous ladies wrestlers, Glow is ready for season 2. Summer 2018 will probably be the time when season 2 airs on TVs. The whole cast will also be there as it did not announce yet for any new added members. To summarize what happened in season, Debbie challenged Ruth to a match; right after the latter wins the GLOW crown. Debbie overcame Ruth with a cross-body to become GLOW Champion. However, Tammé steals the crown under Sam’s guidance to continue the storyline. So, season 2 surely will focus on Ruth and Debbie’s strife.
Life gets better, doesn’t it? The shows mentioned above were definitely the best this year as their rates ranges between 8 and 9 from 10 which is a very high mark that they must be followed because of. So, here is an advice for all of us includes me if we have work to do or exams to study for; try to manage your time because this year is full of amusing, excitement, and irreplaceable Netflix shows.
