Reading for different Cultures is required of course and in this novel you will find what you are looking for, Uniqueness, Dreaming, Active imagination, Magical realism and a very different atmosphere that will take you to a whole new experience. As Kafka Tamura runs from home and faces lots of problems and unclear Circumstances.

Meramar by Naguib Mahfouz

Meramar Motel in Alexandria is a place full of all kinds of people. The novel is about 4 Characters, each one of them is telling the story from his way of thinking. Zahra is the main character; she is a lady who escaped from her parents and works in this motel. Mahfouz takes us in a tragic and dramatic atmosphere with him to prove that the 60s had lots of conflicts and different thoughts.
Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho

Maria is a young Brazilian girl who is convinced that she will never find her true love, as days pass by and Life makes Maria a very different person she meets that lovely handsome painter who changes her life and then she has to choose between Love and Darkness.
